Ive started designing illustration poster sort of like an information poster you get in the National geographic magazines that are about a certain thing or animal. One i had as a kid was about fish, it had all types of different fish on it with the description of that fish underneath it.

I am wanting to know if these posters have a certain name...like a diagram poster (but a diagram poster is more like a manual which is not what im doin) or collection etc.

Hmm... i have never heard of a proper term for them, but I'd call it a species or classification chart.
