Do you subscribe to magazines for your children?

If so, which ones?

My daughter loves the Disney Princess magazine.

We also subscribe to Ranger Rick, Your Big Backyard, Animal Babies, National Geographic Kids, Little Kids and Pack-O-Fun.

I also buy Highlights and Family Fun regularly, but we do not subscribe to them.

They LOVE getting things in the mail, and they are educational (even Disney Princess). We often use them within our lessons since we homeschool.

I am just seeing what others subscribe to, and possibly get ideas for the holiday season for my own children and others (subscriptions make wonderful gifts).

Thank you for your time.Do you subscribe to magazines for your children?
Check out Ladybug/ Spider/ Click/ and Ask. The same publisher (the name of which isn't coming to me at the moment) also has a bunch of other more special-interest magazines. We've subscribed to a bunch in the past and often give them as gifts.
My sister got American Girl magazines for years, my brother got some kind of sports or car magazines on a regular basis, and I got Science News and Time as a kid, then science News and The Economist (a British magazine with a focus on international news and business) when I was a teenager. Seriously, I can hardly comprehend how much reading Science News every single week has helped me learn things... however, I wouldn't recommend it for the average kid unless they're VERY into math and science, and reading at a high-school level already, or they're a teenager. Time would be good for kids maybe 10 and up, and The Economist for when they're old enough to have a basic understanding of both economy and international affairs - maybe 15-16?

And yeah, I was homeschooled too =) My parents learned a lot of stuff from me after I started reading a lot.Do you subscribe to magazines for your children?
My son loves getting the Lego magazine in the mail...it's free from Lego.com..we don't buy anything from it, but he gets wonderful ideas on how to build different things with the legos he has...

He also gets Boy's Life...he also gets that free because he's a cub scout...

We also subscribe to Family Fun...all kinds of great crafty ideas in that magazine...Do you subscribe to magazines for your children?
