Do Christians with kids have cable subscriptions?

If I was one of them I would be scared for my kids to come across the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, History Channel, Animal Planet etc... and all the other channels that would teach their kids that the bible is full of nonsense...do they sensor these channels as they would a porno channel.Do Christians with kids have cable subscriptions?
Not every show on these channels are full of such nonsense.

And people with these views are everywhere. School, the Mall, McDonalds, California. (jk) What you do is raise your children to believe the right way, and not to trust what those shows have to say concerning the bible and God. Then you have to trust they will make the right decision.

You cannot be too strict on everything, and you can always protect them. Ive known of way too many parents who were so strict on their children that when the kids graduated high school they went completely wild because they finally could do what they wanted. It was really just because their parents had never let them try stuff when they were younger, and then when they could they tried the "hard" stuff.

Just keep an eye out when your children are watching tv and when a program comes on that isnt Christian ask them to turn it or watch it with them and explain why it is wrong.
I've grown up in a christian household, and yes we have cable lol. Actually my parents encourage us to watch those channels. I know what I believe and what I see on a tv show isn't going to change that. Actually the porno channels aren't censored because they aren't part of our cable-program-thing but we do have an adult on demand thing and its not censored.Do Christians with kids have cable subscriptions?
We have digital cable...my son watches Animal Planet, National Geographic...and Spike TV too... Fortunately, my son knows enough about what the bible actually says to recognize that nothing on those channels...and nothing he's learning in public school either...suggests the bible is full of nonsense...rather the reverse.Do Christians with kids have cable subscriptions?
Those channels are full of that sort of bunk really.



The bible was giuven to us by G-d.

Who gave us the tv?



Why should those cahannels conform us to the world?



Forget it our, faith is not about false doctrines.

They would have to. And my favorite channels are all the ones you've mention. Don't forget the Science channel!



The history channel doesn't assume the bible is accurate. You need to pay attention a little more.
I hope not, anyone who would force their children to accept something without letting the children make up their own mind shouldn't have children.
no in fact Animal Planet is a common channel in our house
I have issues with the History Channel, they assume that the Bible is historically accurate, which it is not.
