Do you think somone is stupid just because they failed highschool?

Hi well im just wondering do you guys think somone is stupid for failing highschool.



i just failed but honestly i think its because i didnt try my hardest. Also i was just never really good at school and keeping up with all the stuff, but mainly because my effort.



well some people consider me stupid for that. but honestly i think im just as smart or smarter than alot of kids. i learned alot from watching teh scinece channel, discovery channel, national geographic and also the internet.



like i know alot about the future, global warming, artificial intelligence nature and current events. more then most kids do.



so would you guys consider me still a smart person?Do you think somone is stupid just because they failed highschool?
Stupid is a strong word, but there is a real bad stigma associated with kids who fail or drop out of high school. I would say you have a real lack of ambition, which is the problem with most young adults today. It probably stems from your parents congratulating you too often when you came in last place or something, so you've grown to accept the concept that you don't have to try hard to succeed. You're dead wrong if that's your outlook, and in my opinion, if you have a chance to re-take the classes you flunked out on, by all means, do it, and really commit to it. Don't let that lackadaisical attitude affect the rest of your life. In the current state of the economy, no one will look twice at a resume that says "failed high school, but hey, I DO watch the science channel!" and if they do, it will only be for a good laugh.
Everyone is smart and good at something.



If you have the tools to survive in this messed up economy and this even more ****ed up world, then I dont see a problem with it. If you can make a living and be happy, you are good.Do you think somone is stupid just because they failed highschool?
Well thats it. You are smart if you try ur best. So yes u are dumb (no offence) for not trying ur best but still smart in certain areas. Yes i consider u average...Do you think somone is stupid just because they failed highschool?
Yes... I do think that, in order to fail high-school, you have to be stupid.



You've just backed up my assumption... because you believe in GLOBAL WARMING. Even the liberals - who are trying to use the myth to extort more money from us, have stopped using the term "GLOBAL WARMING" because since 2002 - the trend has remained constant and even tending toward COOLING.





They now call it "CLIMATE CHANGE" - so when AL GORE has to speak in San Diego, wearing a PARKA because it's so cold - he doesn't seem like such an idiot.

Seriously - get a grip. Hook up with someone who can get you straightened out.



Watching the DISCOVERY channel - isn't going to teach you anything useful. Obviously - you've not watched the RIGHT shows.

My father said to me, don't spend years at school, get a goal and work hard at it now or you'll be like the guy who went to Uni and could spell unemployed in five different languages :)
